Congratulations to Luke Butler. The purpose of the Light of Christ emblem program is to help the Cub Scout develop a personal relationship with Jesus. With the parents' active assistance and participation in this program, the Cub will come to see Jesus as a real person and friend. The Light of Christ is awarded to Cub Scouts in first or second grade.

The Baby Hats Ministry meets on Tuesdays from 1 to 3 p.m. at St. Vincent’s. Each gathering begins with prayer for those who will receive the hats. Members also enjoy time together, sharing stories, laughing, and sharing their faith.

If you would like to bring the bread and wine to the priest during the 4:00pm, 9:00am or 11:00am Mass please see Sr. Krystyna in the Sacristy at least 5 minutes before Mass begins to indicate so.

St. Damien Council Knights of Columbus is running a new coat drive for the children of St. Agnes church in Paterson.  The need is great in these difficult times and any financial contribution (please note that we are not collecting coats)to defer the cost of purchasing the new coats would be appreciated.  

Bishop Sweeny presented the award during a prayer service last Sunday at the Cathedral in Paterson. Thank you to Theresa for your example as to what a life lived for Christ entails. May God continue to bless you and your wonderful family.

Our next Bridges Run will be Saturday November 11th. Please consider donating the needed supplies to make 200 sandwiches and fill goody bags for the homeless.

The Knights of Columbus are hosting Trivia Night on Friday, November 3rd from 7pm to 9pm in the gym. It is guaranteed to be a fun night with family and friends. Food and drinks are included and it is all FREE!

Fr. Richard will celebrate the annual blessing of the animals Sunday, October 8th at 2pm outside the church in honor of the feast of St. Francis of Assisi. Animals of every variety are welcome!

Diocesan-wide food collection in all parishes and agencies on the Feast of Corpus Christi, Saturday and Sunday, June 10th and 11th. We are all being asked to bring assorted items on that day.  Our parish has been asked to provide Juice, Canned Vegetables (corn, beets), Instant Potatoes, Paper Towels, Cold Cereal and Coffee (instant and ground).
